Corona Virus Update

ATTENTION:

Veterinary services considered essential by province!

“On Monday, March 23, the provincial government declared Ontario in a state of emergency in response to the global COVID-19 pandemic. As of midnight, on Tuesday, March 24, all non-essential services are to be closed in Ontario for 14 days.

The government has deemed businesses that provide veterinary services essential. Practices may remain open and provide essential services while following best practices for infection control.” -OVMA

In order to ensure the safety of our clients and staff during the COVID-19 outbreak, the Midtown Animal Hospital is limiting services to essential medical and surgical cases until further notice.  Patients requiring medical care will continue to be seen but Wellness/Health exams and elective surgery such as spays, neuters and routine dental procedures will be postponed until further notice.  Exceptions will be made for puppies and kittens receiving their initial immunizations and patients requiring immunization for admission into boarding facilities

We will continue to keep our door locked, you must call ahead for food, medication and appointments. We are only allowing patients into the clinic at this time. We will continue to keep you updated as we know more.
